About the Recipe

This simple chicken curry is very easy and tasty without using any cashew paste or cream, it so easy and delicious that even beginners can cook this at home.


For Marinating:

  • 500g chickencurry cut

  • 1 tspSPICEBAY® Turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp RedChilli PowderMild

  • 2tbsp curds/ yogurt

  • 2tbs of SPICEBAY® Nazaqati Chicken Masala

  • Salt as per taste

For Curry:

  • 4 tbs Oil

  • 4 Onion

  • 1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste

  • 2 Tomatoes puree

  • 3 Green Chillies

  • 350 ML Water

  • Coriander Leaves to garnish


Step 1

In a bowl, mix together Chicken, 2 tbsp curd , pinch of turmeric powder, 1 tbspRed chilli powder, 2 tbsp SPICEBAY® Nazaqati Chicken Masala, salt to taste, then rub all over with marinade. Set aside for min 1 hour.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add 4 chopped onions and fry till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 5 minutes. Now, add tomatoes puree, green chillies finely chopped and sauté till oil releases.

Step 3

Add the marinated chicken, saute in the gravy for 2-3 minutes. Add water and cook till 2-3 whistles

Step 4

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot!
