About the Recipe
A really rich and creamy chicken korma recipe with tender chicken pieces in a mildly spiced curry sauce. serve mine with naan or lachcha paratha, but feel free to serve with some steamed basmati rice
Ingredients for preparation:
1/2 Kg chicken
1 cup oil
2-3 tsp ghee
8-10 SPICEBAY® Cardamoms
6-7 SPICEBAY® Cloves
1 tbsp SPICEBAY® coriander powder
1 tbsp SPICEBAY® Red chili
Salt to taste
1 tsp ginger paste
1 cup yogurt
3 onions sliced (fried, grind it in coarse powder without adding water and mix it with yogurt)
2 tsp SPICEBAY® Korma masala
Few strands of SPICEBAY® saffron (mixed in 3 tsp of water)
for garnishing coriander leaves, chopped
Heat the vegetable oil into the pan, then put a dollop of ghee.
Put cardamom, cloves, garlic and fry it.
Then add the chicken and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes. Keep stirring it.
Once it becomes brown, add coriander and chili powder. Add salt to taste.
Add ginger paste, mixture of grounded fried onions and yogurt, let it cook for a minute.
Then put SPICEBAY® Korma masala and SPICEBAY® saffron for flavour.
